De markt is verzadigd, de planeet is op. Tijd om op te stappen: Een nieuw avontuur, nieuwe planeten, bestemming onbekend.
One big universe, and I had the privilege to meet YOU!
21 november maken wij met jullie een reis naar een onbekende bestemming. De Westerunie wordt omgetoverd tot een theater van de oneindigheid. Samen reizen wij langs de sterren en planeten begeleid door de dirigenten van het sterrenstof.
Met meerdere beamers, schermen en decoratie zullen van de Westerunie de cockpit van ons schip maken. De grond laten wij schudden als wij een zwart gat naderen en met lichtsnelheid zullen wij al onze zintuigen prikkelen.
Het podium zal voor één keer het centrum zijn van alles. Van hieruit wordt alles bestuurd, de controle kamer.
Alle artiesten die met ons meegaan op deze trip hebben de training doorstaan en zullen opgewassen zijn tegen de g-krachten, zij ademen dit concept niet alleen als persoon, maar boven alles in hun muziek.

The big boys are playing his records and the party goes on and on. He found his way, his style and works steady on his magic. Since years his records are louded and his tour schedule is heavy this days. The freshness of his performance is catching and evokes an almost romantic picture of perfect Open-Air-Days and Club nights.

He is the driving force behind “We Are Connected”. During his years of producing deep tech house tunes, Warren Fellow carved out a niche within the electronic music scene. His unique sound and party vibe is what draws large crowds to clubs and events all over the world.

Bas Amro
Bas Amro’s sound is hard to describe. His tracks are oldskool but modern, they’re deep but dancefloor-effective. This wide sound got Amro some great gigs, like playing at Joris Voorn’s homebase Atak, Utrecht’s techno-venue Tivoli, the Escape Venue, BLM9, Studio 80, Odeon and many festivals.

Op 7 november zal Hete Peper zijn krachten bundelen met die van Crossovers. Nadat beide organisaties de meest brute edities hebben gehad in onder andere de Club Up, de Kring en Chicago Social Club was het tijd om de handen ineen te slaan en een spektakel aan te bieden. Het is een unieke samenkomst van stijlen en karakters. De line up is de royal flush van de line ups met flinke namen, grote helden en hete mensen. Dus stop de peper in je mond, steek de kruising over en dan ben je klaar voor een avond vol disco, house, tech-house en techno.

We are super pleased to announce ‘Transmat Gets Physical’ day time party at WesterUnie Amsterdam, in Netherlands on Sunday 18th of October 2015 during ADE 2015 weekend in Amsterdam.
Two labels, from two cities, each with their own sound and enormous cultural impact on the techno scene come together to rejoice and celebrate the bond that spans between two continents.
Transmat, a label founded by one of the most influential techno artists – Derrick May – in the birthplace of techno, Detroit. A label that would fuel the techno and house revolution for decades to come and lay the foundation of modern electronic music heard today. And Get Physical Music, started in the early 2000’s in the modern home of techno, Berlin. The two labels share not only a burning passion for music, but each come from hugely significant cultural hotspots for techno music. De laatste vrijdag van Oktober heeft de WesterUnie weer een heerlijke line-up voor je klaar staan.
Beatamines (De)
Zijn tracks zijn uitgebracht op o.a. MBF (Traumschallplatten), Keno en zijn home-label Bondage – Music & Karera Records. Beatamines werkt niet alleen solo. Hij brengt ook tracks met zijn partner David Jach – Elke release kreeg een plaats in de hitlijsten en Beatamines werd in de afgelopen twee jaar gekozen tot een van de beste nieuwkomers. Nu is de duitser bijna altijd volgeboekt en hij hard op weg om ook buiten Europa door te breken.

William Kouam Djoko
William was verantwoordelijk voor de succesvolle Late Night Society clubavond in Trouw Amsterdam. Samen met Boris Werner verwelkomde zij gasten als Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Wareika en Mathew Jonson. In het voorjaar van 2012 nam de carrière van William een grote stap bij het releasen van “We are your brothers and sisters” op Voyage Direct. Door William’s energieke live & DJ-sets waarin hij live-zang combineert met een aanstekelijke podiumpresentatie sleepte hij er dit jaar een residency op Ibiza binnen en stond hij op bijna alle grote festivals in Nederland met als kers op de taart een closing-set in de X-ray op Lowlands.

Flem
In het begin van zijn carrière begon FLEM met werken als lichttechnicus in clubs als Studio 80, Trouw en bij ons in de WesterUnie. Zijn passie lag toen nog vooral bij gitaarmuziek maar door de vele clubnachten begon hij zich steeds meer te verdiepen in house-muziek. Het is dan ook niet gek dat zijn setjes een grote mix van verschillende genres zijn met grote invloeden van disco en hip-hop. Hij draait wat het beste bij het moment past en voelt het publiek altijd feilloos aan.
